The "All-In-One" Concept

In comparison to the standard air-conditioning and ventilation systems, our concept solution has many advantages, like cost effectiveness in various means:


Energy Consumption/Costs - 3 to 3.5 times (300-350%) lesser energy consumption (kWh), compared to “Standard” solution – AHU + Chiller + Pump.

Our comprehensive LPG bottling plants are well accepted known in the Middle East and Africa, most suitable and cost effectively engineered and at the same time highly sophisticatedly safe and with minimum maintenance costs and trouble free operation. It is 100% plug and play standalone ''one piece'' unit, which needs only ducts and power supply for its start up. In support of the health care process, HVAC systems are called upon to perform several vital functions that affect environmental conditions, infection and hazard control, and building life safety. MAX.E3-DH series units are designed and manufactured in accordance with all the major international standards:

EN 1886 - Ventilation for buildings - Air handling units - Mechanical Performance: The standard is a part of a series of standards for air handling units, used for ventilation and air conditioning of buildings for human occupancy. It considers the mechanical performance of an air handling unit and will be supported by a standard for sections and components. This standard specifies test methods, test requirements and classifications for air handling units, which are supplying and/or extracting air, via ductwork, for ventilating/conditioning a part or the whole of the building.

VDI 6022-1: 2011-07- Hygiene requirements for ventilation and air-conditioning systems and units:

  • All materials must comply with health requirements and prevent microbiological growth.
  • Sandwich panel construction.
  • Low condensation tendency.
  • Smooth internal surfaces.
  • Grooves easily cleanable.
  • Bottom panel surface powder coated or made in stainless steel.
  • All units and components are easily accessible and equipped with lighting where necessary and sight glasses.

ASHRAE - HVAC design manual for hospitals and clinics, which provides in-depth design recommendations based on best practices, and presents proven, cost-effective, and reliable solutions that result in low maintenance cost and high reliability.

MAX.e3-DH is an equipment specially developed for hospitals, where the temperature and the relative humidity have to be in narrow limits (±1oC/±2%) maintained. It is designed to:

  • Maintain the indoor air temperature and humidity.
  • Facilitate air-handling requirements to protect susceptible staff and patients from airborne health-care-associated pathogens (Infection control).
  • Minimize the risk for transmission of airborne Pathogens from infected patients.
  • Remove contaminated air.
  • Control odors.

LAMINAR AIR FLOW SYSTEMS

Operations Rooms (OR) being the most critical area in a hospital complex, is necessary to control OR air with respect to temperature, humidity & particulate matter content of air, micro-organisms, i.e. bacteria, viruses, fungi etc.

Laminar air flow system (LAF) is non-turbulent air distribution system which is in bell-shaped lanes vertically on the operating table. At the entrance of the plenum is provided with a HEPA filter of 0.3 microns with 99.99% efficiency. The plenum also functions as a light source above the operating area; it has energy efficient LED lights and provides shadow less lighting.

It is necessary to maintain the air velocity in the operating area at the required level and is ensured by LAF. Clean, treated and filtered air coming from LAF over the operative area carries away bacteria from the patient and from the inmates. As per NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare) the air velocity should be between 2.5 – 3.5 CM (meter per minute). We ensure the same in our designs.

Highly clean air of LAF falls in CLASS 100/ISO 5 category. When this air moves further in OT after leaving LAF area it mixes with lesser clean air of the room along with heat, moisture and bacterial load from the operative area; gradually loses its clean state and while it reaches the last point in OR from where it is sucked back to the AHU. Air in peripheral area of LAF normally falls in CLASS 10,000/ISO 100,000 categories, depending on the OT size. LAF can be made in various sizes as per the requirement. AHU can be mounted in different ways; AHU can be kept outside OT, normally floor mounted or can be ceiling suspended above the OR with maintenance accessibility provisions. Return air is taken from almost floor level in OT, sent to the AHU through the VU treatment module, and returned through plenum with fresh air as per the requirements through LAF. Filtered, treated and cooled fresh air is added within AHU. This addition of fresh air also maintains positive pressure in the OR. Since the OR has a positive pressure, the outside room air entering the OR is restricted while the doors are opened. We also provide necessary cascade pressure relief dampers on the wall to relieve excess pressure in hermetically sealed areas.

Ceiling

Galvanized steel/ aluminum/ SS304 jointless with Poly urethane coating 1.5 mm galvanized steel / 2 mm aluminum sheets with frames and suspended sections fixed to the concrete. Joints are filled with metallic filler material. Complete surface is sprayed with antibacterial poly urethane paint. On completion, the ceiling will be seamless finish and looks one piece.

Galvanized steel / aluminum / SS 304 powder coated tiles 600 mm X 600 mm powder coated tiles made of 0.6 mm galvanized steel/ aluminum or SS 304 sheet are fitted in aluminum frame. Joints are filled with antibacterial silicon compound. On completion, the ceiling will be in tiled form with lighter visible grooves.

Walls

Galvanized steel/aluminum/SS 304 jointless with poly urethane coat 1.5 mm Galvanized steel / 2 mm aluminum /1.2 mm SS 304 sheets with reinforcements are welded to frames and sections which are fixed to the concrete wall or erected with sub frame. Joints are filled with metallic filler material. Complete surface is sprayed with antibacterial Poly Urethane paint. On completion, the ceiling will be seamless finish and looks one piece.

Fixed double glass glazed windows with motorized curtains can be fitted within the structure. Same level of wall cladding or smaller and window can be provided for natural light.

Galvanized steel/aluminum/SS 304 jointless with poly urethane coat 1.5 mm Galvanized steel / 2 mm aluminum /1.2 mm SS 304 preformed panels are fitted on a frame. Each panel fits in to the slots of the adjacent panel and the wall is finished uniformly. Between vertical grooves of the panels antibacterial silicon rubber sleeve are placed. Panels have interlocking arrangement. On completion, the walls will made of metal with fine vertical grooves.

Vinyl panel cladding 1mm vinyl sheets are fitted on zero level walls. Vertical joints are sealed with thermal welding. Pleasant colors are available.

Glass panels frameless 10mm hardened glass with reinforcement is fitted on each side of wall to obtain a seamless finish. Small gaps between the glass is filled with same colored antibacterial silicon filler.

Flooring

Vinyl - antistatic & conductive/dissipative Copper strips are placed on the floor as per the requirement for conductivity and are interconnected and grounded. 1/2/3 mm vinyl sheet in roll or tiles fitted on the floor with self-leveling compound. Choice of Colors and designs are available as per the taste and to suite the interior of the OR / ICU complex.

Hermetically Sealed Door

HPCL / aluminum / SS 304 powder coated automatic sliding doors 50mm HPCL (high pressure compact laminate) / SS304 with PUF infilled one-piece shutter sliding on wheels and channel with drop & push action i.e. shutter is dropped down & pushed near wall to make it hermetically sealed when closed. Manual or automatic options are available. Automation with speed control, half/full open, hand sensor or foot push option are available on request.

SS 304, HINGED 1mm SS304 sheet with PUF insulated 45mm thick shutter within 1.2 mm frame. Double glass window in shutters of size 300 mm X 300 mm or 600 mm X 300 mm provided. Door closer, drop seals, tower bolt, dead lock, handles are provided as standard accessories. Additionally, impact protection plates at trolley height can be provided. Peripheral Lights

Surgeon's Control Panel

SS304 touch screen control panel incorporating membrane type panel with day time, elapsed time, medical gas alarms, hands-free telephone, music etc. Air handling system controls, temperature & humidity indicators, peripheral lighting controls etc. are provided on the panel which is fitted on an SS base plate. Data transfer facility can also be provided.

X-Ray View Panel

AUTOMATIC GAS MANIFOLD

Automatic gas manifold provides centralized distribution of medical gases, reduces the number of cylinders in ward areas, has built-in safety features to monitor gas distribution within the hospital and gas specific connectors to ensure correct supply. It also ensures that the system does not run out of gas as it has two sets of cylinders, one set in use and the other on standby. Status of the cylinders are monitored, and alarms are provided to indicate the sets of cylinders in service and the requirement of replacement cylinders if any.

The automatic manifold control System offers a complete solution to centralized supply of medical gases from high pressure cylinders for distribution to hospitals and laboratories at the required pressure and flow rate.

The unit is supplied as a complete factory tested package and offers a high quality reliability.

The manifold system is extendable and flexible and can be easily tailor made to meet specific customer requirements or to suit individual applications and plant room layouts.

MEDICAL VACUUM PLANT

AREA VALVE SERVICE UNIT

Provides local isolation at the entrance to ward areas and theatre suites. Provided with locking mechanism for operation by authorized persons only. Includes ‘break glass panel’ facility for emergency access, as well as gas specific NIST connectors included in the up and down stream.

Our area valve service unit (AVSU) is suitable for new build or extension applications which require a system of secure but accessible medical gas isolation valves.

The unit is designed to be either surface mounted to eliminate builders works or flush mounted into recessed or studded walls. The unit is connected directly to the medical gas mains pipe-work using copper tail pieces supplied as part of the whole assembly.

Each valve is supplied with a blank spade which can be fitted in place of a through spade to form a physical barrier for engineering work to be carried out up or down stream of the valve.

Each valve incorporates 100% shut-off valves within the gas specific NIST connector. All seals can be easily removed to aid installation and future maintenance. Full steel construction front cover and back plate improve fire rating.

OUR medical gas and vacuum terminal units are suitable for installation into piped medical gas installations within a hospital or laboratory environment.

For refurbishment applications a range of conversion kits are available to convert many other manufacturer’s existing first fix equipment to our outlets, which effectively eliminates builders works in the area of the project.

Special emphasis and consideration at the design stage has resulted in a terminal unit which provide quick, easy to install and maintain; thus, reducing installation time and ownership cost.

The terminal unit is manufactured under strict quality controls in which every terminal unit is subject to full pressure and functionality tests prior to dispatch to the site with a batch number applied for traceability.
